The 3D-Cam FPV literally adds a new dimension to FPV flying!
The 3D-Cam FPV uses two cameras 65mm apart (the average distance apart of a human eye) to generate field-sequential 3D video (the industry standard for 3D video). Together with our VR1400 video goggles the pilot sees the view from the aircraft in 3D which allows depth perception - particularly handy when landing, or flying close to trees, etc.
The video signal can be transmitted using standard video transmitters and can be recorded using a standard VCR or DVD recorder (DVRs which use compression may not be able to reproduce the 3D effect).
Not only does the 3D-Cam FPV bring this revolutionary 3D technology to FPV flying but it also brings another much wanted feature: In flight exposure control. Simply point the camera at the ground, let the AGC (Auto Gain Control) react so that you can see the ground as required, then flick the switch on your Tx to lock the exposure. You can also turn the camera from 3D to 2D mode and change the convergence point - all from your Tx!
