Rush of grass

Take-off gave a rush of grass. The plane was then in climb-out, and after gaining
some height the sensation of speed was lost. At that point the picture seemed
so stable that I thought it had 'frozen'. It was only when my pilot 'banked' into a
circuit that I realised all was normal. Low passes and landing were quite exciting.

A second sortie was flown and a number of club members, not to mention kids
and grandkids, had a 'peek' through the goggles. It seemed a success and others
are still anxious to have the chance of a view.

I shall want some more flights before I try to control it through the 'goggles' view.

I've just been out flying in the snow and I'm totally stoked. I've just got to tell someone! The reason is I managed more range than ever before, more than double in fact!

I'm flying a legal 10mW vTX and a standard 35MHz Corona receiver.

My previous longest range flight was around 700m, maybe less. This time I got out to 1650m - just over 1 mile!!!
