The PV1000 hybrid digital video recorder is the next generation of high definition digital video recorders. It is a law enforcement grade DVR.

The PV1000 has the latest video encoding chip which gives fantastic video quality. You can choose to record video from 352 x 288 right up to 1280 x 960 resolution. A user selectable bit rate from 3mb/s up to 9mb/s makes it currently the highest quality digital recorder available.

The PV1000 has a built-in 120gb Hard Disk or you can choose to record direct to a solid state SD card up to 32gb in size. Video files can then be easily transferred from one to the other. This means the PV1000 can be used in harsh vibrating environments but still allows you to store a lot of video if required.

This unit is supplied with 2 x 3.7v removable and rechargeable batteries, each giving around 170 minutes of record time. Extra batteries and extended battery packs are also available.

Cables are supplied to connect the PV1000 direct to any TV or monitor for instant playback of any video or audio files. The ASF video files that are created can be played back on any PC or MAC by using VLC player.
