Motors And Props
A motors KV rating is an indication of the torque that it produces. Motors that have a high KV rating such as a small in runner generally have low torque but achieve high RPM figures. Large outrunners have low KV ratings and lower RPMS but do distribute a higher amount of torque which would turn larger props.
When choosing a motor and prop combo for your aircraft, remember that the larger the prop the more efficient it will be. You would be best in this case to select a motor with a lower KV rating and then add a bigger prop.
Remember one thing!
The bigger the prop the more thrust and the higher the efficiency.
